Relatives and the members of the Autoconvocadas Women Group demanded justice and the prompt imprisonment of Sergio Kozak, a fugitive from the cause of the double Femicide of Débora and Gabriela, perpetrated on February 21, 2021.

The concentration was in the San Martín square in Puerto Iguazú, then they went to the premises of the Regional Unit V and then marched through the main avenues of the city of Las Cataratas to the Investigation Court No. 3.

“We demand that justice apprehend Sergio Kozak, we have already done an investigation and we know that this murderer is 50 kilometers from San Antonio. We have already provided the necessary data but justice does not act and we do not know why,” said Graciela Elizalde, Gabriela’s aunt.

The family papered with the faces of the victims and the defendant various parts of the city in order to make visible the cause that apparently was forgotten by the justice system “We have no news, they never contacted us from the Court again. I told my daughter we have to go out and fight if we want justice, because they don’t do their job,” said Jorge Agüero, father and grandfather of the victims.

On the other hand, a march and sticker is planned in the town of San Antonio and then return to Iguazú on March 8, the day of the International Women’s Day, where they will once again demand answers.

Through police sources, this morning newspaper was able to verify that from that moment on Kozak’s whereabouts are unknown, since after the fatal attack on the two women he fled in his blue Fiat Toro truck, a vehicle that hours later was found in a place five kilometers from the center of the town.
