twitch ha banned officially to kai cenat Starting Thursday, January 26. Kai Cenat is currently one of the most popular live streamers in the world, whose popularity has skyrocketed in the past two years and who has developed a significant following on various social media platforms.

Cenat has over 3.5 million followers on Twitch and over 3 million YouTube subscribers as of this writing, but he has also proven to be a controversial figure.

Kai Cenat has been banned from Twitch multiple times in the past. The StreamerBans site began tracking Kai Cenat’s channel in 2021. His first ban since tracking began took place on July 17, 2021, while his second ban occurred on August 7.

These first two bans only lasted one day, but Cenat’s third ban, issued on March 2, 2022, was applied for a whole month.

Kai Cenat’s fourth and final ban occurred on Thursday, January 26, but it is unclear exactly how long it will last. Twitch has not issued an official statement explaining why it decided to ban Cenat from its platform, nor has it revealed how long the ban will last.

However, the leading theory is that Cenat’s ban stems from a recent incident where he ate “edibles” (or cannabis-infused food) and passed out while broadcasting.

Twitch has laid out clear rules about drug use in its Terms of Service, so while it’s possible Cenat was banned for another reason, this seems the most likely explanation.
