FHV degree programs receive top ratings in the current university ranking. High satisfaction with the organization of studies and practical relevance convinces students.

The respected Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) recently published the current rankings for universities in German-speaking countries. At the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV – Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences), the bachelor’s courses in international business administration, industrial engineering and social work were evaluated. All three courses received top ratings, with the students surveyed being particularly impressed by the organization of the course and the high level of practical relevance.

Around 160 FHV students took part in the survey for the CHE university ranking. They evaluated the quality of the university and the conditions of their respective courses using various indicators, including digital teaching content for the first time. As usual, information on studies, teaching and research was included in the results. This year the focus was on the FHV courses in international business administration, industrial engineering and social work.

FHV degree programs score points in the ranking

The “study organization” indicator received particularly high ratings of 4.4 to 4.7 out of 5 stars. This shows the high degree of satisfaction of the students with the planning and implementation of the teaching as well as the number of participants in the courses. The indicator “support at the beginning of your studies” also stood out with very good results. The ratings in the “Contact with professional practice” section were also extremely positive. This puts all three courses in the top ranks of German-language universities of applied sciences in the areas of practical elements, practical exchange and teaching by external practitioners. The FHV library received top marks between 4.5 and 4.7 stars for its facilities.

The Rector of the FHV, Tanja Eiselen, is proud of the CHE results (C) FHV/Gmeiner

FHV Rector Tanja Eiselen commented: “I am proud of the very good results of the CHE ranking and congratulate the teams of the respective degree programs and all other responsible departments. As always, we will analyze the results in detail and use them to improve, so that we’ll achieve even better results next year.”
