In the episode “A Little Wolf”, Elif gets an unexpected visit from her father. He used to be a veterinarian himself, until an accident made the job impossible. He gets along well with Susanne right away, which doesn’t suit Elif at all. But that is not how it remains. When it comes to treating one depressed elephants goes, fights Dr. Sahin Senior on Susanne’s side. The animal should be one music therapy be subjected to. Elif, on the other hand, is for one tablet therapy.
In order to get rid of her father as quickly as possible, she agrees to music therapy, but instructs Susanne to order the medication immediately. But the delivery is a long time coming and so Susanne tries to do it on her own with the music – with success. The elephant is obviously doing better. However, Elif is happy that her direct instructions were followed and makes it clear: “Can we finally agree that I’m the chief animal doctor? Then we’ll stick to it” she says angrily.
At the end of the episode, however, the real reason for her tense situation is revealed: At the medicine cabinet, she opens the pill box with the antidepressant (for the elephant). and swallows one of the pills. However, when Winter Direct catches her doing it, she asks him if he would like Vitamin E too.
