To celebrate twenty years of Kingdom Hearts, and pass the time while waiting for the fourth chapter of the iconic Square Enix RPG, the youtuber Shesez has dedicated the latest installment of his famous series Boundary Break to the hidden secrets and easter eggs beyond the confines of Kingdom Hearts levels.
Those who have already enjoyed the works of this content creator will already know that Shesez makes use of mods, developer builds and glitches to disengage the camera and move away from the main settings to observe the portions of the maps and levels that are otherwise impossible to view during the match.
In the specific case of Kingdom Hearts, Shesez made use of the work carried out by the programmer Heebo to freely change the position, the angle of the shot and the viewing distance of the game camera. Among the most interesting secrets that have emerged from the exploration of the external borders of the levels and interactive scenarios that outline the adventure experienced by fans of the series in the first chapter of Kingdom Hearts (in its Final Mix version) we find the Sora’s bedroom.
No less interesting are the numerous unused graphic resources that appear beyond the ‘visible’ boundaries of settings such as Halloween Town, as one treasure chest in Oogie Boogie’s hideout.
