The comeback of the vice president Cristina Kirchner in the Teatro Argentino de La Plata disappointed the expectations of his political troops, who were waiting for a signal on a candidacy from which, finally, seems to move away. However, he set his sights on the libertarian Javier Miley and his idea of ”dollarization” with a speech that seemed to target the youngest.
From the beginning of her speech at the launch ceremony of the Néstor Kirchner Justicialista School, the leader toned down the “operative outcry” for her presidential candidacy: “Don’t curl your hair, I already told you many times.” After an hour of presentation on economic policy, she was a little more explicit: “I already lived, I already gave what I had to give.”
Although the “operative outcry” will probably remain in place until the moment the candidacies are defined -the deadline expires on June 24- and the possibility of her competing as a candidate for senator will remain latent, the vice president left her, in principle , the way released to the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.
He avoided giving explicit supportattentive to the delicate economic situation that the Tigrense must manage (who was in Uruguay during the event to negotiate a disbursement from the CAF for US$690 million, although he sent a delegation to La Plata) but made him a wink when praising his intervention in the exchange market to stop the escalation of the blue dollar, contrary to the IMF.

When recalling that economic policy and its dramatic ending, he pointed to the Alianza government and pointed to some of the main referents of Together for Change: without calling them by name, he recalled the passage of Horacio Rodriguez Larreta by the PAMI and the Patricia Bullrich by the Ministry of Labor that “had discounted 13% to state workers and retirees”.
He also did not forget Ricardo Lopez Murphywhom he alluded to as “a man who today is also promoting himself as head of the City Government” and who “had been Minister of Economy and lasted 10 days because Frankja Morada fired him when he proposed to charge public universities.”
However, the vice president dedicated a good part of the most political section of her speech to Milei. “Now they offer us vouchers,” he said, alluding to the controversial educational policy suggested by the libertarian and, minutes later, he asked to “exceed 20 minutes of Tik Tok and think,” referring to the most popular social network among young people that the libertarian knew how to take advantage of the last time.

Although she repeated her criticism of the government of Mauricio Macri for raising the debt in dollars with private parties and later taking the loan from the IMF, Cristina Kirchner gave Milei much more importance. He chose him as the rival to beat.
Even in the final stretch of his speech he pointed more harshly against the libertarian. When she heard the “Cristina presidenta” chant again from the public, she rejected the harangue and said that “it is no coincidence that the only political leader who was convicted, proscribed and attempted to assassinate is only one”, after which, exalted, He launched: “Those jerks who are saying that the caste is afraid. If nothing ever happened to you brother, where are we afraid of you? Cheers!”
