A few hours after having toasted with his family for the Christmas party, a neighbor of Gonnet had the great scare of his life when he was surprised by a criminal when he was at work at the service station located on Camino General Belgrano and Avenida Arana.

It all happened at dawn yesterday, just after midnight.

The worker, who was doing his night work at the Axion company station, was the victim of a dramatic assault that fortunately did not end in tragedy.

According to the police report to which this newspaper accessed, the 30-year-old man was intercepted by a criminal who with a bladed weapon threatened him with violence with the clear intention of proceeding to steal.

In a matter of seconds, the thug carried out his mission: with a sharp object pointed at the employee, he went to the cash register and, as revealed, took the money that was inside.

Dissatisfied, in the midst of threats, the criminal wasted no time and lifted a cardboard box that was in plain sight, and in which were several packages of cigarettes that would soon be on sale at the store.

Already with the loot in his possession, the criminal fled quickly.

Although the cigarettes were accounted for, the amount of money or the exact value that the thief made between the stolen cash and the merchandise he took in his possession was not revealed.

After the enormous fright caused by the robbery suffered, the victim notified the police and filed the corresponding complaint at the Villa Elisa Twelfth Police Station.

It should be noted that at this time the agents are engaged in the investigation of the case to find the whereabouts of the accused.

It is expected that through the security cameras of the place, plus other elements that can be collected, they can find the suspect who was accused of the robbery.
