Last week ended with good news for the people of La Plata: the Justice lifted the precautionary measure that had been issued a few days before (on January 6) and that prevented the work from continuing with the Veredas Plan. Immediately after that decision, the works started up again.

Unfortunately, it is not the first time that we have encountered obstacles like this. In the last time we had three precautionary on some management action. And the three of them got up quickly. First it was with the cobblestones in the streets where we paved and then with the pruning, which we do every year in the corresponding months. The one on sidewalks is the third precautionary measure that we have raised.

And it is no coincidence that Justice acts quickly by lifting the measures. It is the result of planned work that follows all procedures and conforms to all current regulations. In this management, which began back in 2015, there is nothing to hide. As soon as a question arises, we can present the information and documents necessary to resolve it. Everything we do is studied, regulated and argued. We are not improvised, because everything we do, as the Mayor said at the last opening of Legislative Sessions, everything has a reason.

When we prune the trees, always in times of enabled pruning, we do it to provide more security to the neighbors, avoiding that there are detachments of branches that could cause accidents, and to achieve better visibility for the security cameras that are connected to the COM. When we move forward with the resurfacing of streets, we do so to improve the passability of cyclists and pedestrians, who today have priority. And when we create the Plan Sidewalks to Work we did it for move towards the modern and accessible city that we are projecting. A city that is also inclusive because we are using tiles with tactile signage.

In our management nothing is improvised. Everything we do is based on the Strategic Plan with which we are building the future of the city, a Plan that we design as a team as soon as we reach the government and that we present publicly. A planned, orderly, multi-centre city that grows in balance with the environment. From the municipal management team we want to bring peace of mind to the neighbors: we are going to continue working for this city project. For more obstacles that appear on the way.
