In the afternoon of this Tuesday, two teams of Volunteer Firefighters worked with the aim of rescuing an elderly couple from the interior of a Renault van, she, 73, identified as Iracema V. and he, Osvaldo D. S, 77. years, natives of the Aurora neighborhood, who traveled as companions of their son, whom they had been visiting in the town of Irigoyen.
At the height of Tobuna, as a result, it is believed, of the heavy rain, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which ended up in an inverted position in a gutter, preventing the elderly from getting out on their own, for which reason it was necessary to assistance from volunteer firefighters, who at the scene of the event created spaces by removing mud from one of the doors to get both out.
