Shooting outside a residential party leaves a girl in serious condition and two others injured

A 17-year-old teenager and two other men were injured in an early-morning shooting that occurred in Philadelphia after a residential party.

According to Captain Nicholas Deblass, the violent event took place in the 1300 block of North 10th Street at about 12:47 am Monday.

Apparently a party was being held when the shots began to ring out. The inspector explained that they do not know if it was one or two gunmen, but they recovered 11 bullet casings of the same caliber: 9 mm.

The house where the celebration took place was hit once by bullets and a parked car three times.

The 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound was transported by authorities to Temple University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. At the moment he is debating for life in critical condition, while a 23-year-old man sustained a bullet wound in the leg and was taken to the same hospital and admitted in stable condition.

A third person, aged 31, was shot three times in the buttocks and arrived at Temple Hospital by private vehicle. He was admitted in stable condition.

“Preliminarily we know that a party took place and the injured people were shot in the street and ran to the house of the party to take refuge. The patrolmen heard the shots and went to the place immediately, so they were able to take the 17 and 23-year-olds to the emergency medical center,” Deblass said.

So far, no arrests have been made, details of the suspect(s) have been revealed, or weapons have been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
