After we found out late last year that Returnal will also come for the PC, the only question left was when Housemarque’s sci-fi shooter will be available on Steam and Co. Those responsible provided this answer this week. From the February 15, 2023 you can finally play the PS5 title on the computer. In line with this, Sony has playstation blog also the System Requirements divided.

Your PC has to do that!

As with previous Playstation ports, Returnal also features (buy now €69.99 ) the possibility to adapt the game individually to your hardware. From minimum settings at 720p and 60 fps up to maximum settings with high-resolution 4K, 60 FPS and ray tracing, everything is included. If you want to get everything out, you have to be prepared for heavy demands. For maximum detail at 4K, a RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT needed. Also become 32GB RAM recommended.

But the recommended requirements are not without. Here the team advises you to use one RTX 2070 Super or one RX 6700 XT, if you want to play Returnal soon in 1080p at 60 FPS. With RAM, however, only 16 GB needed. The CPU should have a i7-8700 or Ryzen 7 2700X be installed. New features like DLSS and NIS from Nvidia or AMD FSR will help you with the performance. Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR are not the only features waiting for you in the PC version. Support for ultrawide screens with aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9 is there too.
