President Alberto Fernandez will receive today the chancellor of Germany, Olaf Schölz, within the framework of a tour of the European president through South America. will be in Brazil and in Chili, and Argentina is the first country he visits. An hour after his arrival, at 6:45 p.m., both will carry out the traditional wreath in the monument to the Liberator General Don José de San Martín, in the Plaza of the same name; of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
The moment of reception of the President will be at 7:00 p.m., in the Palacio San Martín, headquarters of the Foreign Ministry, where they will hold a two-sided meeting. And half an hour later, simultaneously, the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, will lead a meeting with businessmen and an extended meeting with members of both countries, after which commercial instruments will be signed.

The day will be long. In the evening, at 8:30 p.m., the Head of State and Scholz will hold a declaration meeting to the press in the Patio de Honor. And at 9:00 p.m., finally, both will lead, in the Libertador hall of the Palacio San Martin, the closing of the business meeting with directors of German firms and representatives of Argentine companies. The last chancellor to visit Argentina was Angela Merkel, in 2017, when she traveled to the country to see Mauricio Macri in a two-way meeting.
